Let’s read the book of Acts together!
The book of Acts has become one of my favorite books in the Bible. Of course I love all the other books too..
The last time I read the book of Acts was about a year ago and this book changed my life. I started from the gospels and transitioned to Acts. To me the book of Acts gave a deeper understanding of the person of the Holy Spirit, His power and how He could use ordinary people with flaws, the disciples, for great things regardless of their background.
As I read it, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, It was just so amazing to see the transformation in the lives of the disciples as they surrendered their will to God and allowed the Holy Spirit use them from town to town, city to city, miracle to miracle and one gospel shared to another.
I recommend this book, if you want to experience the Holy Spirit in your life like never before. I recommend this book, if you’ve gradually become lukewarm and need the fire and passion in you re-ignited. If you want a deeper relationship with God, I recommend this book for you. I also recommend this book if you want to know more about the Holy Spirit and how He can use a person.
You can read a chapter a day, half a chapter a day, a quarter of a chapter a day, mornings only or mornings and evenings, which ever you are comfortable with. I just want to encourage that you read this prayerfully, with expectation and asking the Holy Spirit to lead every step of the way.
